LICENSE TO OWN AND POSSES FIREARM (LTOPF)
– Civilians are required to have a License to Own and Posses Firearm (LTOPF) for him/her to be authorized to acquire, own/possess or use a firearm.
Requirements for a New LTOPF Applicant
- Gun Safety and Responsible Gun Ownership Seminar Certificate (GSS)
- NSO Birth Certificate or unexpired Passport.
- Proof of Latest Billing.
- 2 valid ID’s.
- 5 pcs 2 x 2 pictures.
- National Police Clearance.
- Neuro-psychiatric clearance (NP)
- Drug Test clearance (DT)
PROVISIONAL LICENSE TO OWN AND POSSESS FIREARMS (PLTOPF)
– Allows a firearm owner to legally transfer his/her firearm without getting an LTOPF or allow a licensed firearm holder to Register his expired firearm while processing his LTOPF.
PERMIT TO CARRY FIREARMS OUTSIDE OF RESIDENCE(PTCFOR)
– A permit to carry firearms outside of residence or place of business shall be issued by the Chief, PNP or his/her duly authorized representative.
